About

Hi, I'm Chun Hou.

I've been a barista for more than 5 years, and the thing I love most about coffee is how it brings people together.

Whether it's a quiet morning cup or a lively event station, I believe specialty coffee should be accessible - not intimidating.

Element Coffee is how I share that belief: through events, workshops, and hands-on learning that makes great coffee feel less like a mystery and more like something you can genuinely enjoy and make yourself.

Why work with me

Kind words

From the people I've poured for.

"Went for a coffee class and really learnt so much about milk frothing and latte art. Chunhou was friendly, patient, and taught us in a beginner friendly way so that we could understand. The coffee was really good too and you can tell that he is really experienced and knows his beans. Would recommend him to anyone who wants to learn about coffee and latte art! Loved the experience"

"Had a great time learning more about latte art from Chun Hou! He was very knowledgeable and patient teaching us. Really worth it and a good intro into the world of coffee. Managed to pick up so much about what to look out/listen for when frothing milk. It really made a huge difference to the result. Excited to practice more when I go home!"

"I legitimately had a great time and I wanna thank you and Rachel for being such gracious hosts, and allowing us to stay for quite a bit longer. I think 3 hours was just nice!! It allowed us to have plenty of hands on experience w the machines and I really appreciate that. I posted abt the workshop on my stories and going to recommend it to some friends!"
